What is Zsweet® Organic made from?
Zsweet® Organic is a blend of organic erythritol (pronounced ee-rith-ri-tol) and natural fruit extracts as flavor enhancers. This proprietary blend makes Zsweet® Organic stand out from other erythritol products because it simply tastes better while remaining completely natural.

What is erythritol?
While the name might sound very scientific, erythritol is in fact a natural sweetener. It can be found in fruits like grapes, melons, pears, and even your own body. Erythritol is also present in common fermented foods (wine, soysauce, adn cheese) and may be produced by using natural food cultures. Since 1990, erythritol has been commercially produced and added to foods and beverages to provide sweetness as well as enhance their taste and texture.

Is Zsweet® Organic healthy for diabetics?
Because Zsweet® Organic zero calorie sweetener does not affect blood sugar, it is the perfect food for pre-diabetics and diabetics who are watching their blood sugar. Your Doctor and dietician will agree, adding Zsweet® Organic zero calorie sweetener to your diabetic diet will not only bring sweetness to your meals, but add excitement to your life.

Can I cook and bake with Zsweet® Organic?
Yes! Zsweet® Organic is ideal for cooking, baking and for sweetening hot and cold drinks. Use Zsweet® Organic as you would sugar, it measures cup for cup.

Is Zsweet® Organic Kosher certified?
Yes, Zsweet® Organic is certified Kosher Parve.

Why is Zsweet® Organic good for my teeth?
Does not cause tooth decay: Erythritol like other polyols is resistant to metabolism by oral bacteria which break down sugars and starches to produce aceids which may lead to tooth enamel loss and cavities formation. They are, therefore, non-cariogenic. The usefulness of polyols, including erythritol, as alternatives to sugars and as part of a comprehensive program including proper dental hygiene has been recognized by the American Dental Association. The FDA has approved the use of a "dos not promote tooth decay" health claim in labeling for sugar-free foods that contain erythritol or other polyols

Erythritol is capable to (partly) inhibit oral bacteria in their ability to ferment certain sugars.
For example, sugar-free toothfriendly milk chocolate can be made with normal lactose - containing milk powder when erythritol is used as the sole bulk sweetener.

How does Zsweet® Organic compare with other sweeteners?
Zsweet® Organic differs from Stevia® in many ways. Most notably is the taste. Zsweet® Organic is far superior in taste. Zswee Organic is recognized by the FDA as a food (as is sugar). Stevia® is classified as a suplement, Zsweet® Organic is classified as a food and therefore is able to use the word "sweetener" and "sweet" displaying Nutrition Facts, not supplement facts. Zsweet® Organic measures, looks, and flows like sugar. The ingredients in Zsweet® Organic are erythritol, a natural occuring alternative sweetener that occurs in fruits and vegetables and natural flavor enhacers. No herbs or artificial ingredients are used. Zsweet® Organic contains no artificial or irritating fillers or carriers. Many Stevia® brands incorporate other ingredients such as inulin fiber (FOS) to bulk or carry the product and can be irritating during digestion. Zsweet® Organic is zero calorie and zero glycemic effect making it preferable for individuals with blood sugar issues.

Zsweet® Organic does not contain any chemical, altered starting materials or ingredients; not even in trace amounts. Splenda® (sucralose) is a chemical derivative of table sugar (sucrose).
